Eastern Sky Tires of Madrid is expanding into Imperial, and Owner James Harms feels blessed by the opportunity to provide service to Chase County.

“The Lord drops things into your lap sometimes, and that is what happened here,” Harms said.

Offering tire service for passenger, light truck, farm, and semi vehicles in the shop or in the field, Eastern Sky Tires opened its main office location at 76030 Road 341 east of Madrid two years ago with a great response from the public.

“We are pleased with the support we have received,” Harms said. “And we are excited to offer our services to those in Imperial.”

The Eastern Sky Tires Imperial shop is located at 621 N. Hwy 61, Suite B, with Mathew Cotton serving as Manager. He is joined by Taylor Anderson.

Cotton has tire shop management experience, and is also a former representative for a tire company in Colorado. He is new to the Imperial area and is eager to get to know the public.

“I invite people to stop in and see what we offer,” Cotton said.

The Madrid shop also has a new, but familiar face with the addition of Richard Terry. Other employees at the Madrid shop include Jonathan Hanson and Josh Harms who join James Harms.

The Imperial hours are Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. until March, and then hours will be from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Hours in Madrid are Monday-Friday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 8 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturdays year round. The phone number in Madrid is 308-228-2392 and the number in Imperial is 308-414-6391.

Harms said he encourages people to stop in or call each location and check out prices and services available.

“We have great employees, quality work that is fast and reliable,” Harms said. “We are here to serve.”
