Make No Mistake

CORRECTION: In the Jan. 15 article entitled “2026 Election season underway”, it was incorrectly reported that Regina Berry, who has filed for the Perkins County Assessor position, is an incumbent. Berry is, in fact, a non-incumbent. In the same article it was stated that Sam Sims, who has filed for Mayor of the City of Grant, is a non-incumbent. Sims is, in fact, an incumbent and serves as a member of the Grant City Council. The Tribune regrets these and all errors.

CORRECTION: In the Jan. 15 article entitled, “New Grant nursing home build is ahead of schedule”, the listed responsibilities for the positions of DNS and MDS were inaccurate. For clarification, the DNS is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the nursing staff, while the administrator is responsible for the leadership of the entire building. The position of MDS is responsible for the data inputting for care plans and reimbursements. The charge nurse and DNS play a greater role in the process of monitoring resident’s health and functional status. The Tribune regrets these errors.
