Perkins County wrestlers compete at Medicine Valley Invitational

The Perkins County boys and girls wrestling teams were both in action on Friday, January 30, competing at the Medicine Valley Invitational Meet.
The Plainsmen boys turned in strong performances against a competitive field. Carson Green earned a second-place finish in the 132-pound weight class after advancing through the bracket with a solid showing on the mat. Leighton Fryzek captured first place in the 113-pound weight class, claiming the championship with an impressive tournament run.
On the girls side, Haley Dunn led the Lady Plainsmen with a second-place finish in the 190-pound weight class. Dunn battled through her division and brought home a runner-up medal for Perkins County.

The boys wrestling team will return to action on Thursday, February 5, when they travel to Bridgeport High School for their next meet.
