Donna Jean Sullivan, 91

Donna Jean (Johnson) Sullivan of Wallace, Nebraska, passed away in North Platte on February 5,2026. 

Donna was born in Sutherland, Nebraska, to Gustav Reuben and Hannah (Nelson) Johnson on February 28, 1934. She attended school at O’Fallon’s, Hershey, and Wallace.

She married John L. Sullivan at St. Mary Catholic Church in Wallace on March 13, 1950. 

Donna and John enjoyed dancing and attending the Winter Dance for many years. They traveled widely, particularly enjoying the Orient, Ireland, and Sweden. 

Donna’s memory will be cherished by her children, Cynthia (Robert) Wusk of Colorado Springs, CO, Joyce (Steve) Tarris of Wickenburg, AZ, Mike (Terri) Sullivan of Wallace, Doug (Michelle) Sullivan of Wallace, daughter-in-law Pam Sullivan of Deadwood, SD, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends. 

Donna was preceded in death by her husband, son Larry, parents, and two sisters.

A memorial in Donna’s name has been established at St. Mary Catholic Church and Wallace Morning View Cemetery.

Funeral Mass was held Monday, February 16, 2026, at 10:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church in Wallace, with Father Vidya Sager officiating. 

The Rosary was recited on Sunday at the Church at 6:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Wallace Morning View Cemetery.
