Marjorie “Marge” Janet Wilson went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 17, 2026, in Lincoln, Nebraska, at the age of 88.

Marjorie was born in Madrid, NE on February 16, 1938, to loving parents Glen Gabriel and Jean Marjorie (Yohe) Olson. She grew up in both Nebraska and Southern California, and she graduated from Madrid High School in Madrid, NE in 1956. Marjorie married the love of her life, Roger Wilson, on July 28, 1957, in Gordon, NE. They lived in Chadron, Sargent, Madrid, and Nebraska City until they moved to McCook in 1970 with their family. Together, they were blessed with three children: Kimberly, Michael, and Donald. Marjorie and Roger shared 67 loving years of marriage before his passing on January 18, 2024.

Marjorie was the registrar at McCook Community College for many years. She volunteered at McCook Junior High, volunteered and sang at the Evangelical Free Church, and sang at the United Methodist Church. She enjoyed keeping her hands busy by loving multiple dogs, gardening, sewing and needlework, crocheting, and researching genealogy. She was a wonderful cook, especially known for her cinnamon rolls, runzas and spaghetti sauce! Marjorie also loved decorating her house for Christmas.

Those left to celebrate Marjorie’s life are her three children, daughter, Kimberly (Jim) Conroy of Papillion, NE, and sons, Michael Wilson of Indianola, NE, and Donald Wilson of Lincoln, NE; four grandchildren, Chris (Kelcie) Wilson of Omaha, NE, Andy (Stacey) Conroy of Lincoln, NE, William (Sarah) Conroy of Council Bluffs, IA, and Katy (Nick) Shaneyfelt of Wheat Ridge, CO; nine great-grandchildren, Dylan, Rowan, Ava, Josephine, Henry, Sorchal, Basil, Glenn, and Rosemary; brothers, Jim (Mary) Wilson of West Valley, UT and Alan (Marsha) Wilson of Hurricane, UT; and numerous nieces, nephews, and her black labrador, Buddy.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents and step-father Quig Wilson; husband, Roger Wilson; and three sisters, Dianne Madrigal, Sue Wilson, and Laurie Lynn O’Relly.

Memorial contributions are suggested in lieu of flowers to the Evangelical Free Church, 602 East 14th St, McCook, NE 69001.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 30, 2026, at 10:30 am at the Evangelical Free Church in McCook, NE, with Pastor Jeff Donelan giving words of comfort.

Following a luncheon at the church, an inurnment will be held at Fort McPherson National Cemetery in Maxwell, NE at 3:00 pm.
