Library plans cookbook club

Hastings Memorial Library will host a cookbook club from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 30, featuring homemade desserts and an opportunity for participants to exchange baking tips.

Participants may visit the library before the event to select a recipe from “Sweets and Treats with Six Sisters’ Stuff.” Library staff will provide a copy of the selected recipe for participants to prepare at home.

Attendees should bring their finished dessert to the Aug. 30 gathering, where the group will sample the dishes and share baking advice. Beverages will be provided.
