The Elsie Seniors convened for their monthly luncheon on Thursday, October 8th, at the Elsie Legion Hall. Perkins County Senior Center prepared and delivered a and satisfying meal for all attendees. The Seniors enjoyed a menu featuring classic chicken fried steak, creamy mashed potatoes with gravy, California blend vegetables, and biscuits. The meal concluded with sweet peaches and chocolate cake. A special moment of the afternoon was dedicated to celebrating Lynda Hilferty, pictured above, who marked an October birthday. Those in attendance were: Debbie Osler, Rosalie Curtis, Marian and Bill Robertson, Tara Curtis, Susie and Duane McClintock, Karen Fuller, Eldon Coppersmith, Virginia Coppersmith, Peggy Leachman, Deloris Steinwart, Kathy Curtis, Jane Culver, Lillian Hanson, and Hannah McGannon. These monthly luncheons continue to foster strong community bonds and provide a valued opportunity for fellowship among Elsie’s seniors.
