Walk-in flu shot clinic scheduled Oct. 20 in Grant

Southwest Nebraska Public Health Department will offer a walk-in flu shot clinic Oct. 20 at the Perkins County Senior Center in Grant.

The clinic will run from 10 to 11 a.m. Mountain time at the center, 420 Central Ave. It is open to the public, with flu shots available for anyone 6 months and older.

Available vaccines will include egg-free flu shots and high-dose flu shots for adults 65 and older. Participants should bring their insurance or Medicare cards.

Appointments are not required for flu shots. COVID-19 boosters also will be available during the clinic, but those vaccinations require an appointment. To schedule a COVID-19 booster appointment, call Southwest Nebraska Public Health Department at 308-345-4223.
