Alan Resor

Alan E. Resor, of Grant, passed away November 6, 2020, at Perkins County Health Services in Grant.

Alan was born on October 30, 1955, in Pike County, Missouri, to Robert and Frances (Sherman) Resor. He attended school at Pike County school.

In 1997, Alan moved to Grant, Nebraska, where Alan worked as a tire mechanic at the Coop for many years, retiring in 2018.

On July 15, 2001, Alan married Lisa M. Lyon, and their union was blessed with two children.

Alan enjoyed spending time with his boys, camping, fishing, hunting, and working on vehicles.

Alan was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Larry; three sisters, Sara, Marty, and Mary; son, Allen, and daughter, Michelle.

Survivors include Lisa Resor of Grant; children, Christopher, Robert, Susie, Katie, and Julie; brothers, Robert, Henry, Glen, Dale, and Kenny; sisters, Kim, Suelin, and Robin, along with many other relatives and friends.

A memorial has been established in Alan’s memory for later designation. Condolences may be shared at bullocklongfuneralhome.com.

A celebration of Alan’s life will be held at a later date. No interment is planned at this time.
