Andrea Dilsaver, 38 of Grant, passed away March 20, 2020, at her home in Grant.

Andrea was born on January 13, 1982, at Grant, Nebraska, to Bob and Anita Cummings. She graduated from Wallace High School with the class of 2000. Andrea went on to attend the Dental Hygienist program at Hastings CCC, before going to work for Dr. Swan in Grant.

On May 25, 2002, Andrea married Jeff Dilsaver. Their lives would be blessed with Kyson and Kaylee along the way, whom Andrea loved deeply. 

Andrea had a passion for her work, and her children could attest, she always concerned herself with the proper care of everyone’s teeth. Andrea loved watching Husker Volleyball, along with some of her other favorite TV shows like The Voice and The Bachelor, to name a few. She also had a passion for music and had a particular fondness for Country. Andrea liked to garden and raise flowers. She especially loved the orange ones, as that was her favorite color. Andrea had a distinct laugh that put a smile on the faces of those around her. Recently, Andrea had been a part of a caregiving team, as well as a substitute teacher, both of which she found to be profoundly fulfilling. Andrea’s greatest passion in life was her children, whom she shared such a special connection with. 

Andrea was preceded in death by her grandparents. 

Survivors include her husband, Jeff of Grant; her children Kyson and Kaylee of Grant; parents; Bob (Anita) Cummings of Grant; brothers, Mitch (Michelle) Cummings of Grainton, Ryan (Katy) Cummings of Giltner; parents-in-law, Tom (Vickie) Dilsaver of Big Springs; brother-in-law, Chad Dilsaver of Omaha; sister-in-law, Tammy Francescato of North Platte; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. 

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Andrea’s memory. Condolences may be shared at bullocklongfuneralhome.com.

Due to current health restrictions, a private family burial will be held in the Grant Fairview Cemetery with a public memorial service to be held at a later date. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 25, 2020, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Bullock Long Funeral Home in Grant.
