Glenn Nutt

Glenn P. Nutt of Elsie passed away June 29, 2021 at his home south of Elsie. 

Glenn was born February 19, 1951, at Grant, Nebraska, to Marion and Freda (Linnemeyer) Nutt. 

He attended school at Elsie before working with his dad and brother on the family farm, which had been established in the 1800s. 

Glenn spent a few years working for the County, running a maintainer, and at Gerald Gentleman in Sutherland, but by and large farmed the majority of his life and, in later years, living on the homeplace. 

Glenn had an appreciation for the outdoors and loved to hunt and fish when he got the chance. 

Glenn was preceded by his parents; three brothers, Morris, Dwight, and Marlin; three sisters, Arlene, Bertha, and Norma.

Survivors include two brothers, Tom (Sharon) Nutt of Holdrege and Wayne (Freda) Nutt of Dickens; brother-in-law, Ray Pace of North Platte, along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. 

A memorial has been established in Glenn’s memory with the intent to support the Perkins County Sheriff’s Office. Condolences may be shared at bullocklongfuneralhome.com. 

Graveside services were held on Monday, July 5, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. CT, at the Curtis Cemetery in Curtis, Nebraska.

Bullock-Long Funeral Home of Grant is in charge of arrangements.
