Margie Bauer

Margie V. Bauer, 96, passed away February 10, 2019. 

Margie was born October 30, 1922 in Grant, Nebraska. She was a schoolteacher in Nebraska following High School. Margie and her late husband Alfred moved the family to Colorado in the mid 1950’s. 

She was a lifelong member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, and volunteered there for many years. 

Margie was very skilled at embroidery, and enjoyed bowling with Alfred and going to the movies.

Margie is survived by her daughter Diann Snider; son Dennis W. Bauer; grandchildren: Dan Bauer, Erin Hammock, Lindsey Bauer, Darby Snider, Kaelin Dooley and Dylon Bauer; great grandchildren: Mikenzie Bauer, Kennedy Hammock, Parker Hammock and Drake Bauer; numerous step grandchildren and great grandchildren and her sister Mildred Schuchman. She was preceded in death by her husband Alfred and five siblings. 

Visitation will be Thursday, Feb. 21 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary in Wheat Ridge, Colo.  

Service will be Friday, Feb. 22, at 10 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Denver. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
