Obituary

TJ Meyer, 50, of Milford, Nebraska, passed away June 14, 2017.

TJ was born April 27, 1967. He was a 1985 graduate of Milford High School, and received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a master’s degree in educational administration from the University of Nebraska-Kearney.  

TJ was an administrator with Milford Public Schools,  a member of Hillcrest Evangelical Free Church in Seward, Neb., Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Region I Principals Association and Kiwanis of Milford. 

Survivors include his wife, Shanna Meyer, Milford; children, Jensyn Meyer and Bragan Meyer; mother, Judy Meyer, Lincoln, Neb.; sisters and  brothers-in-law and their families: Tracy and Brad Blair, Lincoln (Brady, Brice, Tori, Tiffany); Jami and Jedd Mosher, Magnolia, Texas (Aiden, Ashton); parents-in-law, Connie and Garvin McClenahan, Grant, Neb.; brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Brenda McClenahan, Grant (Courtney and Mallory); sister and brother-in-law, Monica and Bart Starr, Denver, Colo. (Iris and Graham).

Services were Sunday, June 18 at Hillcrest Evangelical Free Church in Seward with Pastor Brad Johnson officiating.

Private graveside service and interment was at Blue Mound Cemetery in Milford.

Memorials can be directed to Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Milford Schools Foundation Endowed Scholarships or TJ Meyer Family Scholarship.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Zabka Funeral Home of Seward.
