Sharon Newton

Sharon Lee (Royse) Newton of Michael Drive, Rhode Island, passed away on Jan. 29, 2019.

Born in Paxton, Nebraska, she was the daughter of the late Aaron and Wilma (Witt) Royse.

She is survived by her children Brenda Newton of Bristol, Rhode Island, Frederick Newton of Westport, Massachusetts, Pamela Jannitto and Her husband Joe of Bristol, and Scott Newton of Riverside, Rhode Island.

She was the grandmother of Kelsey Newton, Kailyn Newton, Alicia Jannitto and Michael Jannitto.

She is also survived by her long time companion Edward Pereira of Taunton, Massachusetts, her brother Frank Royse and several neices and nephews.

Sharon graduated from Elsie High School and was emplooyed as a secretary for Claflin Medical Supply before retiring.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, step sisters barbara Houtz and Dorothy Magers.

Sharon was buried in Barrington, Rhode Island.
