Tatum Goodell, 24, of North Platte, went to be with her Heavenly Father, Saturday, November 13, 2021, as a result of a sudden illness.

She was born October 20, 1997, in North Platte, Nebraska to Christian Heil and John Goodell.  Tatum attended Hall School and Stapleton school where she graduated in 2016.

She received her Associates of Art Degree from Mid Plains Community College and was close to receiving her bachelor’s degree from University Nebraska Kearney, where she was majoring in sociology and minoring in psychology.

Her dream was to be a counselor so she could help others.  She worked at the Garden Glove, Java Junction, Little Lamb Day Care, and most recently at the Coffee Bin.

At each job Tatum made special friendships and wonderful memories.

Tatum was truly one of the kindest souls to ever walk this earth. She had a special gift for listening and was always there for everyone.  She lit up the room when she walked in with her amazing smile and her fun quirky personality.  Tatum loved spending time with her family and friends.

Her nieces were so very special to her and she loved being with them. They absolutely adored her, too!

She had such a strong faith and knew she would be welcome in Heaven with open arms.  Tatum trusted in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.  She attended church at North Platte Berean.

Tatum loved music and belting songs out loud at any given time and loved getting in the car and going for drives.  She had such a free spirit, loved so strongly and had such a unique style.

She will be missed tremendously by those who loved her.

Tatum is survived by her parents; Christian and RC Heil, John and Angela Goodell; sisters, Jordan, Charis and Ally Goodell; brothers, Lane Heil, Elijah and Andrew Goodell; grandparents, Pat and Paula Smith, Fred and Kathy Goodell, Randy and Ellen Heil, Terry Miller and Bill Wortman and Marlon and Vivian Berry; great-grandparents, Melba Billingsley and Jim Moore; aunts, Sunny (Corey) Crandall, Erin (Charley) Brown; uncles, Mike (Stephanie) Heil, Brett (Kate) Berry, Jason (Vanessa) Berry; cousins, Adam, Abbie Crandall, Jaydn, Justis, Jed Brown, McKenzie, Jasper, Eli Heil, Emmalynn, Max, Isabella Berry, Taeya, Brynn, Landry, Berry; two very special nieces Audrey and Addalyn, her dear friend and roommate Sarah Woodhead and her very sweet puppy, Daisy.
