Vicki Baumgartner

Vicki M. Baumgartner was born March 19, 1949, at Grant, Nebraska, to Ralph Irving and Roma Florence (Morton) Daigger. She graduated from Madrid High School with the class of 1967. She later attended Park Business College in Denver, Colorado.

On December 28, 1968, Vicki married Gary Baumgartner. The couple resided in Denver, and their union was blessed with two children, Tye and Leah. In May of 1980, they moved to Madrid, Neb., to be closer to family, where Vicki worked as a bookkeeper at Burge Grain.

Vicki enjoyed computers and her animals.

Vicki was preceded in death by her husband, Gary, her parents and sister, Karen Berkowitz.

Survivors include her children, Tye (Jennifer) Baumgartner of Madrid, Leah (Jon) Mussmann of Omaha; grandchildren, Zoe, Grayson, Caius and Everleigh; along with many other relatives and friends. 

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. at the Madrid Cemetery.
