Letter to the Editor: Council candidate requests no votes

Citizens of Grant,

As the election for 2018 nears, I would like to ask you NOT to vote for me in the city council race as you head to the polls.  

Since deciding to run for this position this past spring, I have had a change in my position with my employer.  This change requires more travel for me, which has led me to know that I would not have the time to give to the position that I know that it would require to help move our city forward.  

There are some great candidates who are running and will help move our city forward, so please make sure that you get out and vote.
