Hello Grant,

I am taking this opportunity to inform you I will not be running for re-election as Mayor of Grant.  Over the last seven years I feel I have been able to participate in completing most of the projects that I wanted to help with.  These projects include the pool project, the downtown improvement project and the Automated Weather Observing System (AWOS).  My favorite project, new housing for Grant, is in the beginning phases.  Please refer to the article dated May 29, 2025, in the Grant Tribune for a more comprehensive list.  I am proud of the work that the current city Council and the city staff have accomplished. I am confident they will continue to build Grant up. I thank you for the wonderful opportunity to serve as Mayor.

I fully endorse Sam Sims, current Council President, as the future Mayor for Grant.  He is intelligent, has business savvy and loves this community.
