Pipeline breach will accelerate world’s woes; Americans must vote for change this fall

The same day the Grant Tribune-Sentinel was printed last week with my column focusing on the energy, fertilizer and food crisis that is gripping Europe and its potential affects on the world, two Russian pipelines —Nord Stream 1 and 2—, were breached by an unknown actor. The pipelines, which are a pair of offshore natural gas pipelines in Europe, run under the Baltic Sea from Russia to bring natural gas to Germany.

According to war correspondent Michael Yon, who gives up-to-the-minute updates on Locals, this breach is practically an act of war by whomever carried it out. With the pipelines breached, Germany is now shut off from being able to access any natural gas from Russia, even if they wanted to. The American mainstream media has been quick to blame Russia for the breach despite little evidence for this. They say Putin sabotaged his own pipeline and blamed it on others so he can use it as a rallying cry to gain support for the Urkainan war.

Epoch points out, however, there is much circumstantial evidence that the Biden administration was involved, although, this has yet to be proven.

The evidence that The Epoch, and other outlets, are giving that points back to Biden include several officials from the Biden Administration who have, since last year, reiterated a threat to Nord Stream 2 if Russia invaded Ukraine, including Biden himself.

During a December 2021 Senate Foreign Relations Committee Hearing on U.S. policy toward Russia, both Senator Ron Johnson, who is a Republican, and Secretary for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland discussed the need to stop the development of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline if Putin invaded Ukraine.

Then again in December 2021, it was reiterated by US State Department Spokesperson Ned Price to NPR that the Nord Stream 2 pipeline between Russia and Germany would not move forward if Russia invaded Ukraine.

Not long after that, Nuland again reiterated the same sentiment at a US/Ukraine diplomacy briefing.

“I want to be very clear today: if Russia invades Ukraine, Nord Stream 2 will not progress one way or the other,” Nuland said at the White House briefing.

Then in February 2022, with a visit by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz to the White House, Biden himself stated during a joint news briefing that if Russia attacked Ukraine the U.S. would shut down the Nord Stream 2 pipeline. When asked by a reporter how that could happen because Germany was basically in charge of the pipeline, Biden doubled down, saying it would happen.

Also, earlier this year in June, according to Daily Wire, the U.S. Navy and NATO tested underwater technology near the same location the Nord Stream pipelines were damaged, even though both entities deny any involvement.

All of the aforementioned incidences do not look good for the U.S. and NATO. And, if the two entities were the sabotagers, the United States has now embedded itself firmly into the European conflict with Russia, via NATO, in which Ukraine just submitted an expedited application of membership. WWIII does not seem so implausible anymore.

The destruction of the pipelines just creates more direness for those in Germany and Europe, and every sector that uses natural gas. Report after report continues to surface from various industries and factories that are either cutting back on production, or ceasing production all together, because of the skyrocketing cost in energy. This includes car companies, stainless steel mills, food factories, farms, small businesses, and many others in Europe. It seems that Europe is in free fall, and no one in the world will be immune from the ramifications. And, I haven’t even mentioned Putin’s response to all of this, which has included the threat of a nuclear response .

As the ripple effects from the pipeline breaches spill into other parts of the world, people will begin to move to find food, shelter, heat, etc., while America’s back door is wide open for all to come in, thanks to Biden’s non-existent response at the southern border. Homeland Security has reported that more than 2 million people have crossed the southern border so far in 2022, with 600,000 of them being got-aways. Sadly, this flow is destined to just get worse.

The best possible chance for Americans to get our country back on a strong footing to respond to these worldwide threats is to get out and vote in November. We need people back in power who will put America first, and not continue to sell our country out to the globalists. The future of the U.S., and the world, depend on it.
