Fuel Friday to benefit Perkins County FFA

Area residents can help support Perkins County FFA simply by filling their gas tanks during Aurora Cooperative’s FFA Fuel Friday fundraiser.

The Grant A-Stop will participate in FFA Fuel Friday on Friday, Sept. 4, with 10 cents from every gallon of fuel purchased that day donated to the local Perkins County FFA chapter.

The annual promotion through Aurora Cooperative is designed to support local FFA programs and the students who participate in agricultural education and leadership activities.

Community members who would like to participate can purchase fuel at the Grant A-Stop, 76188 N. Highway 61, throughout the day Sept. 4. For every gallon purchased, 10 cents will go directly toward supporting Perkins County FFA.

The fundraiser gives motorists an opportunity to contribute to the chapter through a purchase they may already be making while helping support agricultural education and FFA opportunities for local students.
