Baumgartner is May Senior of the Month
Zoe Baumgartner is named the May Senior of the Month by Pinnacle Bank. Baumgartner resides in Madrid with her parents Tye and Jennifer Baumgartner.
Baumgartner has been on A-B Honor Roll all throughout high school, yet still has participated in numerous activities. She was a member of the volleyball team in ninth grade. She took part in One Acts in tenth, and her team earned “runner-up” at the district competition. I’m really proud about my teams achievement in runner-up at districts in One Acts. We worked really hard on the play, and took in many recommendations and put it towards the play. When we went to our first competition, we got 7th place so we improved a lot,” said Baumgartner. She played golf in tenth and eleventh grade as well. In her Senior year, Baumgartner was a member of the Student Council.
Throughout high school, she valued her teachers the most. “My teachers have taught me many things throughout my high school career. But along with teaching me those things, most have supported me. They listen when I have questions, school and life related,” Baumgartner said.
Baumgartner also has several activities outside of school. She has her own business called ZB Truffle that she started as a freshmen and it is still up and running. Its taught her pricing and advertising strategies. She has also worked at Little Bluestem, which taught her responsibility, and she recently started a job at the Hospital but is already learning accountability and kindness. She also participates in a bible study on Monday Nights.
After high school, Baumgartner plans to go to nursing school and eventually become a Certified Registered Nursing Anesthetist. “I plan on going to nursing school and later becoming a CRNA. This has been a big goal of mine, but before becoming a CRNA I plan on becoming a nurse and trying to figure out different things, such as labor and delivery nursing, along with being a trauma nurse,” said Baumgartner.
For being selected Senior of the Month Baumgartner’s picture will hang in the lobby of Pinnacle Bank in Grant and she will be eligible for a scholarship awarded at the end of the school year.
The Student of the Month and scholarship program are sponsored jointly by community members and Pinnacle Bank in Grant.
