Briggs crowned first ever PCS homecoming princess 

Michelle Briggs, a fifth grader at Perkins County Schools, was crowned the first ever Perkins County homecoming princess at Haenfler Field on Friday, Sept. 21. Briggs is currently fighting osteosarcoma.

King Beau Wood spoke about how royalty is chosen each year based on popularity, but this year the royal court wanted to honor someone who was brave and courageous beyond what any of them could imagine.
