College graduations this Saturday

Rohde to graduate from MCC

Abbey Rohde of Wallace will earn her Associate of General Studies Degree and Associate of Applied Science Degree at the 2019 McCook Community College Spring Commencement Ceremony. 

The ceremony is scheduled for 10 a.m. CT May 10 in the Graff Events Center. It will be livestreamed at https://evideo.mpcc.edu/Watch/MCCSports.

Seven to graduate from NPCC

Seven area students will be recognized at the 2019 Spring Commencement Ceremony at North Platte Community College on May 10.

Students graduating include Mitchell Sestak of Grant, Associate of General Studies Degree; Crystal Jones of Grant, Associate of Science Degree; Logan Cunningham of Grant, Associate Degree of Nursing; Whitney Spencer of Grant, Associate of Applied Science Degree in business; Kaitlynn Heinemann of Grant, diploma in automotive technology; Shane Anders of Wallace, diploma in heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration technology; Daina Markussen, certificate in medical billing and coding.

Prior to commencement, Cunningham will be honored in a pinning ceremony at 12:30 p.m. CT in the McDonald-Belton Theater on NPCC’s South Campus, 601 W. State Farm Rd. It will be streamed on the NPCC Facebook page. 

Commencement will begin at 3 p.m. CT in the McDonald-Belton Gymnasium on NPCC’s South Campus. A livestream will be available on the college’s Facebook page and at https://npccknights.com.
