Bartels makes SCC dean’s list

Southeast Community College in Nebraska has released its dean’s list for the quarter recently completed on the Beatrice, Lincoln and Milford campuses.
Jeramy Ken Bartels, of Grant, made the list while studying building construction.
 To be recognized on SCC’s Dean’s List, a student must complete at least six quarter credit hours of the term with a minimum grade-point average of 3.5. Classes with a grade of “P” (Pass) do not count toward the six-hour minimum.

 

UNK announces dean’s list for 2017 fall semester

The University of Nebraska at Kearney announced students who earned a place on the dean’s list for the fall 2017 semester.
Jordyn Bartels, Quinton Hite, Rebecca Johnson, Allison Kiolbasa and Samantha Snogren all of Grant and Brandie Ross of Elsie are students that were announced on the list.   
Students who are on the dean’s list must have completed 12 credit hours or more of classes with a 3.5 grade point average or better on a 4.0 scale. Students earn a 4.0 for an “A,” 3.0 for a “B” and a 2.0 for a “C.”
Courses taken on a credit/no credit basis aren’t included among the necessary 12 credits.

 

Cornelius and Lyon make dean’s list

Carissa Cornelius and Courtney Lyon, both of Grant, met requirements for the fall 2017 dean’s list at Chadron State College.
Students make the dean’s list by earning at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale. Students must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours of coursework during the semester to qualify.
Chadron State College, which was founded in 1911, is the only four-year, regionally-accredited college in the western half of Nebraska. As a public institution with its roots in teacher education, Chadron State takes pride in its accessibility and affordability. Nearly 3,000 undergraduate, graduate and online students currently attend Chadron State and its curriculum has grown to offer programs and courses in more than 50 majors and endorsements and eight master’s degree programs.
