FFA hired-hand auction raises nearly $4,000
Thirty-eight members of the Perkins County FFA chapter were auctioned to local business and family members last month. The average price was just over $105 per individual netting the chapter slightly under $4,000. The money raised from the auction is used by the chapter to support FFA activities at State FFA, District #9 contest, send the FFA chapter officers to COLT and to support the High Points Trip. Students are asked to work an eight-hour day with lunch provided.
