Four graduate from UNL

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln conferred a record 3,223 degrees during commencement exercises May 4 and 5 at Pinnacle Bank Arena and the Lied Center for Performing Arts.

Jacob Sexson of Grant received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. 

Matthew Sestak of Madrid received a Bachelor of Science degree in education and human sciences. 

Elizabeth Hock of Wallace received a Master of Arts for Teachers. 

Alexandria Lundvall of Wallace received a Bachelor of Science in agricultural and environmental sciences communication with distinction.

The graduates were from 60 countries, 46 states and the District of Columbia, and 250 Nebraska communities.

The arena hosted a ceremony for students earning graduate and professional degrees May 4 and one for those earning bachelor’s degrees May 5. The College of Law conducted a separate commencement ceremony May 5 at the Lied Center.
