May’s senior is Kait Heinemann

Kait Heinemann has been chosen as the final senior of the month for the 2016-17 school year.

Throughout high school at Perkins County High, Kait has been active in the classroom, gym and the community.

She has been a member of FFA and has been in a musical.

She has participated in volleyball, basketball and track, and has been a member of the band.

She held the offices of treasurer and secretary of her class.

In the community, Kait has been involved in the E-Free youth group and FCA.

Her work history includes a summer job at a local convenience store; a part-time job at a retirement community; babysitting for several area families; a cleaning job and an assistant coaching job for PeeWee softball.

She would like to put her passion for vehicles into a career path, and plans to attend a two-year course in auto mechanics at North Platte Community College after graduating from high school.

For being selected senior of the month, Kait’s picture will be on display in the lobby of Pinnacle Bank in Grant and she will be eligible for a scholarship awarded at the end of the school year.

The student of the month and scholarship program are sponsored by Pinnacle Bank of Grant and members of the community.
