New PCS teachers ready to get started

Three teachers new to Perkins County Schools are ready to begin the school year.

Katie Geitz

Katie Geitz will be teaching high school science, as well as coaching science club and assisting girls basketball.

Originally from Iowa Falls, Iowa, Geitz moved to Ogallala in May and will make the daily commute to Grant.

She graduated from Central College in Pella, Iowa in December 2015 with a degree in biology and secondary education.
