Patrick places at state speech

Katie Patrick earned a sixth place medal in Persuasive Speaking at the state speech competition held in Kearney last week. Other qualifiers, James McArtor and Haven Wid in Informative Public Speaking and Hailee Iske-Fraizer in Poetry, participated in two preliminary rounds where they each earned superior ratings.
