PC speech takes first at home meet

The Perkins County Schools speech team claimed another first at their home invitational this past Saturday, Jan. 26. 

The team was first in Class C1-C2 as well as overall champions.

Results

Duet—Rylee Huff and Carter Krajewski, third; Bella Fraizer and Ian Sihm, fifth. 

Entertainment—Peyton Woodmancy, second; Ian Sihm, third.

Extemporaneous—Matthew Wendell, third; Jeb Kohl, top novice.

Humorous—Jacob Woodmancy, second; Emme Sims, fifth; Keshia Leeper, eighth.

Informative—Sam McArtor, second; Rylee Huff, top novice. 

Oral Interpretation of Drama—Keisha Leeper, Jacob Woodmancy, Peyton Woodmancy, Wendell, McArtor, first; Triston Hite, Blake Dolezal, Sammy Patrick, Kohl, tenth.

Persuasive—Meghan Bishop, first; Katie Patrick, fourth; Kayton Brueggeman, top novice. 

Serious—Hannah Kempf, seventh.

Poetry—Jessie Craig, top novice.

The speakers will compete at Sutherland this Saturday, Feb. 2.
