PC students place at art show

Perkins County Schools art students received recognition for their artwork at the 2019 Phillips County Student Art Show held in Holyoke, Colorado April 4-7.  

Receiving Best of Show was Ashley Becker with a white chalk and pencil on black paper. Kamryn Branson received second place Best of Show on a Tempera painting Baroque Style Self Portrait.  

Other placings include:

Merit award—Rylee Huff: pen and ink drawing.

First place drawing—Emilio Perez, colored pencil.

Second place drawing—Aaron Fay, white chalk and pencil on black. 

Third place painting—Carter Krajewski, Tempera painting. 

Honorable mention—Bryder Hickey, ceramics; Juels Lyon, ceramics; Jeb Kohl, Gothic facade collage; Sam McArtor, Celtic cross colored pencil.
