PC students place at scholastic contest

Perkins County School students competed against more than 400 students from 18 schools in more than 500 tests at McCook Community College’s inter-high scholastic contest on Wednesday, March 28.

The top placers in each category received $500 scholarships and the three top placers were awarded three free credit hours of summer tuition. 

Perkins County students placing in the top three included:

Accounting— 2. Kadie Hanson

Algebra—3. Ethan Terry

Geometry—1. Jack Kohl

Information Technology—2. Chris Terry

Music-Vocal—2. Haven Wid

Welding I—3. Tanner Burge
