PC, Wallace bring home medals from State Speech

Students from Perkins County Schools and Wallace High School brought home the hardware last week from State Speech. Top: Earning a First Place medal for Persuasive Speaking was Perkins County Senior Gavin Smith, left, with Senior Eli Busick earning 5th Place in Persuasive Speaking. Smith also earned a 5th Place medal in Informative Speaking. For Wallace, middle photo, Ryleigh Hanson, right, and Ashley Robertson placed 5th in Duet. Wallace’s Erica Rosentrater, bottom photo, was selected to perform her informative speech in a Spotlight Division and received a gold medal on stage during the awards ceremony.
