Quiz Bowl earns SPVA Championship

The Plainsmen High School Quiz Bowl Team traveled to Valentine on Thursday, Mar. 19, 2026, for the SPVA Conference Quiz Bowl Tournament.  Eight teams competed in this round-robin tournament.  PCS went 6-1 and finished as the SPVA Conference Champions.  

Game Results:

PC beat Hershey 45-20

PC beat Bridgeport 70-45

PC beat Chase Co. 10-10

   ** PC won the tiebreaker question

PC lost to Valentine 30-55

PC beat Mitchell 50-15

PC beat NPSP 45-20

PC beat Kimball 35-5

Team Finish:

1st - Perkins Co. 

2nd - Chase Co. 

3rd - Hershey
