Seniors to graduate this Saturday

Seniors will gather as an entire class for the final time during 2018 graduation ceremonies this Saturday, May 12.

The 30 seniors from Perkins County Schools will begin their march into Pritchett Gymnasium at 1 p.m. MT, while 18 Wallace High School seniors will graduate at 5 p.m. CT.

Perkins County 

PCS graduates will be wearing scarlet and black, accented by red and white variegated roses, which will be given to family members.

Superintendent Phillip Picquet said noise makers/horns will not be permitted out of respect to graduates and their families. 

The class has chosen a quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson. “What lies behind us, and what lies before us, are small matters compared to what lies within us.”

Their class song is “Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)” by Green Day.

Michael Beck, Kyla Brueggeman, Laura Dreiling, Maggie Earl, Kenyon Gaar, Cassidy Goldenstein, Bryce Grothman, Jonathan Hanson, Kadie Hanson, Colton Heinemann, Hailee Iske-Fraizer, Charles Johnson, Josh Johnston, Nathan Kemling, Jack Kennicutt, Jessica Klingelhoefer, Jack Kohl, Jaci Kurkowski, Colton Lamberti-Schmidt, Zach Malmkar, Allisa Overstreet, Tyson Patrick, Valerie Perez, Karen Ruiz, Eric Sandberg, Austin Seiler, Christopher Terry, Haven Wid, Sydney Wilson and Gabe Wright.


Eighteen seniors from the Class of 2018 will walk across the stage at Wallace High School to receive their diplomas and begin their futures. 

Their class song is also “Good Riddance” by Green Day and they created their own class quote. “Together we have experienced life, separately we will pursue our dreams. Forever our memories remain, and if God’s got us, then we gonna be alright.”

Their chosen flower, the white rose, enhances their colors of royal blue and white.
