Speech places second at SPVA

Perkins County placed second with 200 points at the SPVA speech meet held Monday, March 4 in Kimball.

PC had 13 medals in the finals. 

Districts will be this Friday, March 15 in North Platte.

Persuasive—Katie Patrick, first; Meghan Bishop, second

Extemporaneous—Jeb Kohl, second; Matthew Wendell, fifth

Humorous—Jacob Woodmancy, second; Keshia Leeper was two speaker points from making finals, ending up seventh

Duet—Ian Sihm and Bella Fraizer, third

Entertainment—Peyton Woodmancy, third; Sihm, fourth

Informative—Sam McArtor, third; Savannah Schmitt, fifth

Oral Interpretation of Drama—Dolezal, Hite, Kohl, and Patrick, third; Leeper, McArtor, Wendell, Woodmancy, Woodmancy, fifth 

 Serious Prose—Fraizer, fifth

Hannah Kempf was .08 reciprocal points from making finals, placing seventh

Poetry—Summer Postlewait was half a reciprocal point from making finals, ending seventh
