Throughout his high school career, Waitley has been involved in numerous activities, such as cross country, wrestling, track, One Acts, National Honor Society, FCA, mock trial, and honor roll.

“I am proud that I have been finishing strong with all A’s and a few B’s. I am proud that I have a 4.0 GPA. I am also glad that I went out for so many sports, so I knew what I really liked to do,” Waitley said.

Outside of school, Waitley has been on mission trips, participated in Bible school, and helped with youth group.

“I want to join the military after college. I want to go to college at LCCC for two years and then go to the University of Wyoming. I would like to train in mixed martial arts and study exercise science. I would like to minor in criminal justice,” Waitley said.

For being selected Senior of the Month, Waitley’s picture will hang in the lobby of Pinnacle Bank in Grant. He will be eligible for a scholarship awarded at the end of the school year.
