Wendell medals third at state speech

Matthew Wendell returned home from the C2 state speech competition with a third place medal. 

Perkins County placed 18th as a team at the competition held in Kearney on March 22. 

Coach Penny Hite said the finish is not what they were hoping for, but was a strong showing for a young team that has continued to improve throughout the season.
