Wildcats rank third at Wallace Speech Invitational

Wallace’s speech team ranked third overall with 30 points out of 11 schools that attended the Wallace Invitational speech meet on Saturday, Jan. 18.

“I loved hosting our first meet of the season,” said Coach Samantha Garrison. “The students competed well. I am excited about the speaking talent returning to our team and with how many hours the freshmen put into creating their presentation.

We are already using the judges comments to perfect speaking pieces and look forward to competing again.”

The next competition for Wallace will be at the Perkins County Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 1.
