11 students earn fall academic all-state

Eleven Perkins County High School students were recognized as recipients of Fall Academic All-State honors:

The Nebraska School Activities Association, in partnership with the Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association, honors students for participation in NSAA-sanctioned activities. 

To be eligible for the award:

• A nominated student must be a varsity player or organizational leader who has played a significant role on the team or in the organizational activity during the seasons for which  nominations are accepted;

 Must have a minimum cumulative Grade Point Average, in all curricular subjects, of 93% or 3.7 on a 4.0-point scale or the equivalent.

• NSAA high schools nominate a maximum of two students per NSAA activity program.

This fall’s recipients include:

Play Production—Sophia Perez, Gavin Smith.

Football—Erik Snyder, Jeb Kohl.

Cross Country—(boys and girls) Colton Pouk; Meredith Gloy, Hallie Fisher.

Volleyball—Kylie Tucker, Meghan Bishop.

Girls Golf—Emme Sims, Madi Ingold.
