Cross country begins Aug. 31

Perkins County Cross Country Coach Paula Wurst said the team is looking forward to the season. 

This year’s team consists of 27 runners, with 21 boys and six girls. Eight of last year’s nine letter winners are returning. 

Last year’s boys team received fourth at SPVA as well as districts, and senior Nathan Kemling and juniors Jaden Dietlein, Caden Waitley and Hailey Snyder competed at state.
