Wilson, Jaden Dietlein and Evan Sestak earned spots at the state meet by capturing second in the 400, 3200 and high jump respectively. Wilson’s time tied for the third fastest in Class C.
Alex Patrick, Charles Johnson, Schrotberger and Wilson qualified in the 4x100 with a second place finish and the second fastest time in Class C.
“It was as tough a district as we thought it would be. Things went about as good as we were hoping it to. Several of the athletes should do well at state and earn medals if we can get them to perform around their PRs,” said Head Coach Shayne Hite.
Events begin at 9 a.m. CT for Class C on Friday, May 19 at Omaha Burke Stadium.
