Lady Cats fall to DCHS and Maxwell

Wallace girls faced Dundy County Stratton in a home game on Tuesday, Jan. 21. They fell to the Tigers 68-39, leaving their record 4-8 going into the RPAC tournament. Sydney Pelter led the team in scoring against DCHS with 16 points. In the first RPAC game, the Lady Cats played Maxwell. Maxwell’s Wildcats got a quick lead on Wallace, and the girls could not recover, finishing the game 55-25 in Maxwell’s favor. Mariah Gardner scored the most points for the Lady Cats in their game against Maxwell with 11 points. Wallace girls will face Wauneta-Palisade in their last game of the RPAC tournament on Thursday at 4:15 p.m. in Trenton. Wauneta-Palisade’s record stands at 7-10 going into the week.

On Tuesday, Feb. 4, the Lady Cats will host the Brady Eagles. Brady’s record stands at 5-12, and the Eagles will play South Loup before traveling to Wallace.
