Lady Cats take first win

Wallace won in a home game Friday, Aug. 30 over Medicine Valley in five close sets, 20-25, 25-20, 25-20, 21-25 and 15-12. 

Junior Emma Berry and Senior Quinn Koop led kills with 11 each. Sophomore Denay Pelster had five aces. 

“Our girls earned an exciting win tonight! They stayed focused on their goals, but still have to work on communication and serving. This was a good start to the season and we are looking forward to seeing continued improvement with each game.” said Head Coach Elizabeth Hock. 

The Lady Cats played Sandhills Valley at home on Tuesday. They will play South Loup High School and Mullen at a triangular in Arnold on Thursday, Sept. 5 in Arnold, beginning at 5 p.m. CT.
