Lady Plainsmen add another win to record

The Lady Plainsmen volleyball team played their 28th game of the season last week on Tuesday, Oct. 17.

The Plainsmen’s win over the Kimball Longhorns brings the team’s season record to 7-21.

Perkins County defeated Kimball in four sets, 15-25, 25-17, 25-21, 25-21.

Perkins County has not had their team together in a normal rotation in seven games, due to injuries and illness, until the game against Kimball.

The Plainsmen got off to a slow start in the first set against the Longhorns.

Misdirected passes were making it difficult for Perkins County to get a solid offense going. Several passes sent over the net gave the Longhorns opportunity to set up their offense and allowed their strong hitters to attack the Plainsmen.
