On October 21, the Lady Plainsmen traveled to Kimball, Nebraska to play the Kimball Longhorns, who they have played previously in the season. Just like the time before, Plainsmen came out on top, winning three out of four sets. This was the last game of the regular season before they move on to the subdistrict match.

The game was close scores throughout most of the time. In the first set, Lady Plainsmen pulled ahead, with a score of 25-22. The Lady Longhorns then took the lead in the second set, scoring 25-11. However, Lady Plainsmen came back in the third set, achieving a score of 25-17. Lastly the Plainsmen secured their win in the fourth set scoring 15-19. Plainsmens final record for the regular season is 15-15. Head Coach Monica Cole reflected on their last game in the regular season and highlights that she is proud to coach these girls. “Last Tuesday, all of the teams played well for our regular season ending! Although they got one set on us, I was proud of the girls for bouncing back and taking the next two with authority. They are playing well together right now, so if we can keep everyone healthy, mind and body. Confidence and fearless play are going to be the keys to our season staying alive. I am excited to see how far this team can go into the postseason! Regardless of the outcome, I am always proud to be their coach and to see them grow as players and as humans!” said Cole.
