Lady Plainsmen open golf season

The Lady Plainsmen have already competed in three meets early in the season.

They played in meets at Bayard, Kimball and Creek Valley. 

Coach Shawn Cole said the girls have been improving every meet thus far. At Bayard, he said they were 30-40 stroke better than last year’s scores in the same tournament.

He said the scores improved again at Kimball and those golfing at Creek Valley shot personal bests. 

The Lady Plainsmen will compete in a triangular with Southwest and Dundy County Stratton next Tuesday at the course in Cambridge. 

The team includes sophomores Kayton Bruggeman, Savannah Clark, Kayla Reichenberg, Emme Simms and freshman Sarah Cockerill.
