Lady Plainsmen to play Crandall Creek at districts

The Lady Plainsmen and their head Coach Shawn Cole have wrapped up their regular season and are now looking ahead to districts.

On Tuesday, Sept. 18, the girls played in Ogallala before heading to Bridgeport. 

Ogallala saw 18 teams play and the PC girls placed 13 as a team with a total of 538. 

First place went to North Platte who’s team shot a 351.

Peyton Woodmancy was  the top scoring Lady Plainsmen of the day with 113 strokes, followed by Kayton Brueggeman who shot a 120.

Other participants at West Wind Golf course were Savannah Clark, 142; Kayla Reichenberg, 163; and Emme Sims, 177.

September 20 was the Bridgeport Invite and according to Coach Cole, the PC girls opted out of finishing the invite after a lightening delay. 

Next action

The Lady Plainsmen are Class C-5 and districts are scheduled for Monday, Oct. 1 at Crandall Creek Golf Course in Ogallala. 

Participating schools include Perkins County, Bayard, Bridgeport, Creek Valley, Dundy County-Stratton, Garden County, Gordon-Rushville, Kimball, Mitchell, Ogallala, Southwest and Valentine.
