Lady Wildcats tie for fourth at Paxton Invite

The Lady Wildcats finished fourth at the Paxton Invitational held on Tuesday, April 18. 

Finishing first was Shelby Ogier in discus and the girls’ 4x100 relay. 

Micah Swedberg and Madisen Messersmith each placed second in the 400, as did the boys’ 4x400 relay. 

Those placing third included Peyton Messersmith in the 100, Hannah Robertson in the 800, and the girls’ 4x400 relay. 

Jared Sullivan, Tyrell Maline, Madisen Messersmith, Peyton Messersmith, Jayden Widener, Meredith McCoy and Ogier all brought home a fourth, fifth and/or sixth place in their individual events at the Paxton meet.

The teams will compete in the RPAC conferece meet in Trenton on Friday, April 28, which begins at 11 a.m. CT. The Best of the Midwest meet will be held in Sutherland on Tuesday, May 2, with field events beginning at 3 p.m. and track events starting at 4 p.m.
