New coach Miller to lead Wildcats
The Wallace Wildcats open their 2017-18 season with something old, something new, an enthusiastic team and a lot of ‘Go Big Blue’. This year’s coaching staff covers the old and the new.
Eric Miller is ‘new’ to the Wallace staff this year and he will lead the way for the Cats as the head coach. He is originally from Axtell where he had the opportunity to coach football, basketball and track.
Assisting Coach Miller is former coach, Terry Fowler. He fills the role of ‘old’, not because of age but because he has retired from coaching twice before so he has a great deal of experience. The love of coaching still runs in his veins so he is back for more.
The Wildcat team is 18 strong: six seniors, four juniors, five sophomores and three freshman.
